Is There A Problem With iPhone 15?
Just after the release of the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple faced a backlash. Customers began to complain about the overheating issues of the smartphone. A blogger even recorded a high of 118 degrees F which was shocking for all Apple customers. If you were planning on buying the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, you must be wondering “Is there a problem with iPhone 15?”. Worry not as you will find a detailed answer to your question in this post. After reading this article, you will be able to make a reasonable buying decision.
Users of the new iPhone 15 Pro Max complained that the overheating of the device occurred when the phone was used for doing simple tasks. For instance, it would get hot during social media scrolling or watching videos. This was worrisome as for other devices the overheating seemed to be linked to charging the device. Some users speculated that the reason why the phone gets toasty after a few minutes of use could be the titanium alloy chassis. To the relief of the customers, Apple took notice of these complaints. The company came up with a solution to the problem.
On Wednesday, October 4th, Apple launched the new iOS 17.0.3. After breaking its silence regarding the topic on September 30th, Apple was quick to come up with this solution. The release of the iOS update specified that along with security issues, and bug fixes, this update “addresses an issue that may cause iPhone to run warmer than expected.”
The company further explained that the reason why the new phone was too hot to hold was due to a software bug in iOS 17. Hence, it had nothing to do with the physical design of the device.
